The Rainbow Lodge, Big Sky Montana
A Timeless Mountain Wedding at Rainbow Ranch Lodge | Dawn + Tim
Dawn and Tim—New York City dwellers with a shared love for nature and intentional beauty—traveled west to celebrate their love in the heart of Big Sky, Montana. On October 22, 2022, they exchanged vows at the stunning Rainbow Ranch Lodge, surrounded by mountains, river views, and the cozy magic of late autumn.
As a destination wedding florist based in Colorado, it was an honor to bring their floral vision to life in such an iconic mountain setting. The design direction was timeless mountain romance—a soft palette of whites layered with taupe and subtle golden hues, perfectly suited for the season.
In true mountain fashion, the day surprised us with early winter weather. While unexpected, it created the most breathtaking backdrop and an even cozier atmosphere. To keep guests warm and comfortable, the ceremony was thoughtfully relocated from the riverfront to the lodge deck—allowing Dawn and Tim’s lush floral arch to remain a showstopping focal point while everyone stayed dry and snug.
Floral moments were intentionally abundant throughout the day. From the full ceremony arch to an inviting lounge setup and a sweetheart table wrapped in blooms, every detail contributed to a warm, romantic, and welcoming aesthetic. The overall feeling was intimate, elevated, and effortlessly beautiful—proof that flexibility, thoughtful design, and nature’s surprises often result in the most memorable celebrations.
Dawn and Tim’s wedding was a perfect example of why we love romantic mountain weddings—where organic beauty, intentional florals, and heartfelt moments come together in the most magical way.

This intimate elopement inspired day was everything. It was an honor to work with such amazing and talented vendors and an honor to design at the lovely and exclusive property, Cloud Camp, at the Broadmoore. The Design vision was luxurious and so much fun to execute. Lots of fluffy white flowers with touches of rust to bring in those elevated mountain feels.

Sahar + Tyler
A lavish summer wedding hosted at the Four Season Vail complete with portraits on top of vail mountain and a traditional Persian ceremony. The team at Erin Ashley Design and I were all so excited for this cultural ceremony- (and to be honest, a bit intimidated by the intricacies that accompanied the Safora table design). We had never created one of these sacred spaces before and it was such a joy to roll up our sleeves and emmerse ourselves in the design challenge. It was perfection.
Cheers to love, laughter, and a happily ever after
